For some reason every year, my husband and I have to look at a calendar to figure out if we were married on Oct 8th or the 9th... we can never remember because it was June 9th that we were engaged, which makes us question the day come Oct. but here we are celebrating our 6 years together.
I am not sure where the 6 years have gone, except to say that three of them have been filled with sleepless nights, numerous diaper changes, feeding schedules and now a lot of chasing around. It has been a great 6 years!
There are times I wish that we could of met earlier in life, there is a 9 year difference between us (I'm the young one :) and I feel like we could of done so much more together before having kids... but there will always be after the kids leave home.
As for celebrating, well we celebrated as a family today. We never came up with a babysitter :( But I wouldn't change anything about today, it was the perfect family day; from sleeping in, taking a walk to the park, getting a Saturday afternoon nap, to just hanging out watching TV now that the kids are asleep.
